Every woman should have a classic boudoir portrait in her lifetime. Even if it's tucked away for no one else to see, a beautiful image of oneself marks a period in time of your classic and unique beauty. I have often asked myself, what does one do with the portrait afterward? It would be a bit narcissistic to enlarge for a wall portrait, right? Ultimately it's like a hidden secret or a gem; where, after a passage of time, it can be recovered from its secret hiding place when needed. Too many times I hear from women that they'd love to have a boudoir session once they lose weight. Of course I understand this but time goes by and it's the exact same excuse over and over. As with professional models, there are runway, hand, hair, eyes, etc. The attire for a boudoir portrait does not have to be slinky lingerie. It can be an off the shoulder blouse or whatever body part you’re most comfortable with and that’s most flattering to your figure. It's a keepsake for you to have and hold. Reunite yourself with it in a few years, then 5 years and so on and so forth. I know when you do, it will hold a nostalgic value that can't be replaced.
