Engagement Portrait, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles

Jackie and I were discussing engagement locations yet it was her fiance, Donald, who wanted to take the lead on selecting a spot. He's into history and loves museums. His ideas had more to do with architecture and when I heard The Walt Disney Concert Hall was on his list, I was so excited. I've only been there once with my husband so I figured I would remember all the sweet spots. Well I didn't, but we had fun walking around the premises. It's so great that they don't require a permit and you have free access to roam about the exterior. The thing about photographing there is you want to incorporate the architecture yet your subject is the focus. You can look like a spec among the towering walls. I'm really looking forward to photographing there again soon.

Family Portrait, Seal Beach

Meet the Chamber's family. Tracy is a photographer yet had not had family photos taken in awhile. I was really honored to capture her family portraits. Their daughter was a natural, I'm sure it's from being mommy's subject for many test shoots. My favorite is the photo below, I hope it makes it's way to the perfect spot in their home.

Maternity Portrait, Lakewood

A little baby girl was brought into Brianne and Brian's arms since we captured their maternity portraits back in May. Elena was born June 1st, three weeks after her Mom & Dad took these photos. Congratulations you two, I'm so excited for what the future holds for you and baby Elena. You will look back at these photos with nostalgia of what is was like when it was a family of two and the anticipation of bringing a new life into your world.

Wedding at Hotel Laguna, Laguna Beach

Lisa and Matt had a lovely, intimate outdoor wedding at Hotel Laguna. As I was driving to the venue, it was raining but it cleared up within the hour. I'm so glad that their wedding day stayed true to course. Both looked impeccable, especially Matt's choice of whimsical socks and Lisa's Jimmy Choo's. I may be biased because I got married in Laguna Beach but this is such a beautiful wedding location. It brought back so many memories for me. I could have photographed them all day as they looked so dashing in this beach setting. Congratulations Lisa and Matt and thank you so much for allowing me to capture your big day.
