Wedding photography at Old Ranch Country Club, Seal Beach

Kristen and Phil's wedding decor consisted of colorful birds which is so appropriate considering they are both Wildlife Biologist. Family assisted with the wildlife theme from the unique hand painted table numbers to Kristen's bridal shoes and clutch. Kristen surprised Phil with a cermonial entrance of a bag piper immediately following their announcement as husband and wife. The rain was a factor although mother nature kept the sky clear throughout their cermony. Kristen's gown goes down as one of my favorites since I've been capturing weddings. It was endearing to see how close their family is and both sides definitely know how to prepare and deliver endearing and comical toasts. Thank you so much for selecting me as your photographer, it's weddings like yours that truely inspire me.

Valentines Day

In honor of Valentines Day, I want to share my favorite love quote that I've memorized from college days; although, I can't recall who wrote it, it made a lasting impression on me. It expresses what we should practice not only on Valentine's Day, but every day in our journey of life: The lover does not give in order to receive. Giving is in itself an exquisite joy. But he that gives can not help but bring something to life in that other person, and this which is brought to life reflects back upon him.

Baptism Long Beach

Eirini was baptized in her family church, Assumption Greek Orthodox church, amongst family and friends. It was a posh affair and Eirini made several wardrobe changes for the occasion. She was princess for the day as she was held and kissed by all her admirers. I loved watching her expression as she experienced the day. She was so observant that you felt she understood the meaning of the day. I event caught her yawning and who wouldn’t with all the attention and excitement in the air. It was a beautiful service and Eirini held up well considering all the rituals of the baptism. Yes, she cried but once she was in her God parents arms with Mom & Dad close by, she snapped out of it. Eirin’s Mom, Stacy, did a fabulous job with the reception décor. There were fairy princess’ everywhere and loads of sweets that the kids went crazy for. It was such an opportunity to witness and photograph such a reverent tradition.
