Wedding photography at Betty H. Reckas Cultural Center, Long Beach

This was my last wedding for 2012. It was so nice to finish the year with such a sweet couple. I always feel so lucky to be part of my clients wedding day. The highlight was taking their romantics at a park for sunset. The weather was beautiful and made for stunning photos. You can tell Evette and Ivan are best friends. Such an integral part of a marriage. It's enjoyable to be around them, you feel their love & admiration for one another. From the mariachi's to their bride & groom skit and candle lighting, they really focused on entertaining their guests. Everyone had a great time celebrating their milestone as husband and wife. It was a great wedding season and I could not have done it without Maribel Farina who second shot the majority of my weddings with me this year. Thank you my dear for all your energy, assistance and creativity. It means so much for me since it's a one woman act at CW Photography Designs.

Engagement Portrait, Long Beach

I loved that Crystal had so many ideas for her engagement portrait. It makes a session unique & whimsical which really reveals one's personality. Crystal and Joey traveled from Vegas the day of the shoot and we were concerned about the dreary weather conditions. I had mentioned umbrellas would be fitting due to the chance of rain. Sure enough, they showed up with a bright blue and red umbrella. The vibrant colors on a grey day spruced it up and led to some great portraits. I also love the contrast of the open field and their sporty attire. They're such a fun couple to be around as you can see from this session.
